I do think that Barack being elected president moves America closer to its ideals. I think that because around the time of slavery blacks couldnt even vote. So who would even think of a black becoming president. By stoppoin slavery, and letting blacks vote, that brought America closer to its ideals. It isn’t too long and people can still remember about it so that fact about black and white is about 80% maybe of a change, that isn’t a lot.
