Hideki Tojo was born on december 30th, 1884. Tojo died at decmeber 23th 1948. Tojo was born in the Kōjimachi district of Japan He was the third son of Hidenori Tojo, a lieutenant general in the Imperial Japanese Army. Tojo’s two older brothers died before his birth. In 1909 he married Katsuko Ito, with whom he had three sons and four daughters.
Hideki Tojo was a general in the imperial japanese army and the 40th prime minster of japan during the world war II. Tojo was with the axis powers taking over nations after nations. He waged war against China, United States, British, Netherlands, and France.

Adolf Hitler
Adolf Hitler was born on April 20th, 1889. He had died on April 30th, 1945. He was a Austrian-born politician. He had 3 fiances. He was born in Braunau am Inn, Austria. His father was Alois Hitler and his mother was Klara Polzl. He was an unsucessful artist and went to the Nazi party. Him and his wife had suicided.
He is know for being a very cruel dictator. He had caused the Holocaust. He had killed over six million Jewish people. He had gotten Italy and Japan to join him. This formed the Axis Group. They took over many lands. His reign of terror ended when his wife and him shot themselves in the head.

Author Neville Chamberlain was born in 18 March 1869 and died in 9 November 1940. Chamberlain was born in a house in Edgbaston called Southbourne. He was the biggest son of the second wife of Joseph Chamberlain, Lord Mayor of Birmingham, and a half-brother to Austen, later Sir Austen. Neville’s mother died in childbirth in 1875, when Neville was six years old. He was very close to his sisters Ida and Hilda. After being school at Rugby School he spent seven years managing his father’s plantation that is located in the Bahamas. In 1897 where he went into the copper-brass business. He was good in local politics and in 1915 was elected Lord Mayor of Birmingham.
Chamberlain was important in World War 2 because Chamberlain’s legacy is making Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany happy with his signing of the Munich Agreement in 1938, making Czechoslovakia to Hitler. He went to a conference with Hitler, Benito Mussolini of Italy, and Edouard Daladier there he made a lot of treaty that lost lands to Hitler. He also gave up the Irish Free State Royal Navy ports in the same year. Chamberlain doesn’t want to start a war for a small piece of land. Chamberlain was replaced by Winston Churcil because he didn’t stand up for what’s right and he didn’t stand up to defeat Hitler.

Harry S Truman:
Harry S Truman was born in born in Lamar, Missouri on May 8, 1884. He went to school and went to high school. He graduated in 1901. He got a job as a timekeeper and then a clerk at two Kansas City banks. He works as a timekeeper and a bank person for 5 years. Then he went back to his father to help in the farm in 1906. He worked there for another ten years. While he was helping his father in the farm from year 1905-1911 he was also in the Missouri National Guard. During the WWI he helping America Organize the 2nd Regiment of Missouri Field Artillery. Truman was promoted to Captain and given command of the regiment’s Battery D.
On June 28, 1919, Truman married Bess Wallace, whom he had known since childhood. Their only child, Mary Margaret, was born on February 17, 1924. From 1919 to 1922 Truman ran a men’s clothing store in Kansas City with his wartime friend, Eddie Jacobson. In 1922 Truman was elected to be on of the judges for the Jackson Country Court. In 1934 he was elected to the United State Senate. He had significant roles in the passage into law of the Civil Aeronautics Act of 1938 and the Transportation Act of 1940. In 1945 he ran for vice president and in 1945 he became the new vice president. The same year he became president because President Roosevelt died and he became the president. He participated in a conference at Potsdam, Germany, governing defeated Germany, and to lay some groundwork for the final stage of the war against Japan. Truman approved the dropping of two atomic bombs on Japan on August 6 and 9, 1945. Japan surrendered on August 14, and American forces of occupation began to land by the end of the month. After an 8 year run in the presidency he retired in 1953. Harry S. Truman died on December 26, 1972.
Winston Churchill was the British Prime Minister in 1940. He helped keep the morale high during the London bombings from Germany. Churchill was born on November 30, 1874. He died on January 24, 1965. Churchill was awarded the Nobel Prize for his works on his memiors in 1953.
During WWII, Britain was bombed by Germany. Churchill helped encouraged the British people to continue fighting. The British eventually beat back the Germans. Also, when the United States developed the first nuclear weapons, they named the Plutonium bomb the “Fat man”, named after Winston Churchill.
Douglas MacAuthor was born on January 26, 1880 and he died on April 5, 1964. He was born on Little Rock, Arkansas. MacAuthor had three brothers and he was the youngest of them all. His parents were Lieutenant General Arthur, Jr. MacAuthor attend West Texas Military Academy. At the age of 28, he then attends school in United States Military Academy.
MacAuthor was part of World War Two. He was the commander of the U.S. forces in the Pacific during WWII. During WWII, MacAuthor was the commander in the Philippines. During WWII, MacAuthor’s first tasks were to change the mind of Australians, who feared a Japanese invasion. At the end of WWII, MacAuthor , was in trouble since Japan counterattack but MacAuthor had something up his sleeve and that hwas move his headquarters to Manila. He announced the downfall of Japan and that happen. Japan got capture and was force to surrender.

Tojo graduated from the 17th class of the Imperial Japanese Army Academy in 1905 and graduated with top grades from the 27th class of the Army Staff College in 1915.
Tojo, aware that Japan was unable to win the war, shot himself in the chest just before he was arrested by the US Military in 1945. Tojo survived was nursed back to health. For his part in leading Japan into World War Two, Tojo was executed as a war criminal. He was accused of bringing out Japan’s violent foreign policy in the early 1940’s and allowing the awful mistreatment of prisoners-of-war, opposing to the Geneva Convention. He was found guilty.
President Dwight D. Eisenhower was born in Denison, Texas on October 14, 1890. He has 6 brothers. Eisenhower was very good at sports in high school. He went to school in Abilene High School in Abilene, Kansas. He graduated with the class of 1909. Eiesenhower was the third leader of the new tank corps. He got married to Mamie Geneva Doud on July 1, 1916. They had two sons, Doud Dwight Eisenhower and John Sheldon David Doud Eisenhower. He died in March 28, 1969.
After Japan Pearl Harbor, he was assigned to the General Staff. When he earned his fourth star he became the General of North American Theater of Operation (NATOUSA). In 1944 he was the General of the Army. He is best known for D-day June 6, 1944. The Invasion of Normandy was lead by Eisenhower. It was scheduled for June 5, 1944 but because of bad weather, it was delayed for the next day. There were massive air attacks and naval bombardments. The U.S. won the Invasion of Normandy.

Arthur Neville Chamberlain was born at 18 march 1896. Also died at november 9 1940. Chamberlain died at age71 years old. Chamberlain is famous for the appeasment with Adolf Hitler. He supported the nazi group. He signed the Munich agreement. He let Hitler take over Czechoslovakia. He also gave up the irish royal navy. He was in the parliment like his older brother and his father. He was elected chancelor of Exchequer. He thought makiing a bond with Hitler would be a good way for making peace. But he was completely wrong. Then he took over Stanly Baldwins place as Prime Minister. Chamberlain was always taught to follow his brother and his father foot steps.

He was the fourth child of the sixth and his father was Alois Hitler, and his mother, Klara Polzl. When he was young his father always had beaten him and in the end, his father died when Hitler was at the age of 13. Unfortunately, his mother soon died of breast cancer. Soon he went into the art of painting, but he thought that it was a Jew professor that rejected his paintings. Also, he thought that a Jewish doctor was responsible for his mother’s death. He thought that the Jews were rich and lived only in big houses and since then, he warped his hatred around Jews.
He began joining the army when World War I started. He was weak to carry weapons, but after 4 years of hard work, he worked to a high level rank in the German Military. The he created a Nazi party. He wanted to win the past glory of WWII. Many people believed him and indeed after he took over, he took over many European countries making Germany one of the most powerful countries in Europe. During World War II he made an Axis power, which is to join powers with the dictators of Japan and Italy. He also contributed the Holocaust During World War II. The Holocaust was the genocide of Jews, which was the massive killing of six million Jews. The Nazi party led by Hitler killed many Jews. It was a truly historic tragedy of the European times.

Douglas MacArthur was born in Little Rock, Arkansas on January 26, 1880.MacArthur’s father was known as a high ranking military man.Even though MacArthur was raised from a poor family MacArthur was able to graduated at West Point Military in 1903 with the highest average on the age of 28.In 1922 he married Louise Cromwell Brooks but seven years later they were divorced (1929). But he was remarried to Jean. After getting fired from being a general MacArthur was hired to be a chairman of the board of the Remington Rand Corporation in August 1952. Then he has a illness which made him died in the Army’s Walter Reed Hospital on April 5, 1964. His wife, Jean, died on January 22, 2000, at the age of 101.
Douglas MacArthur was a commander of U.S. forces in the Pacific and was a commander in the Phillipness in World War 2. During World War 2 MacArthur made Japanese from Tokyo Bay to surrender on September 2 1945. In 1950 the fight with Korea affected MacArthur’s career. MacArthur attacked Inchon which routed the North Korean armies.This made the North Korean armies to move toward China. The North Korean armies send UN forces to relieve their anger. MAcARthur asked for an extension of the war but President Harry S Truman who wanted to limit American involvement in Korean and warned MacArthur not to attack North Korea to stop the attacks. But MacArthur didn’t listen which made him lose his job as a general in April 1951.

But he no longer needs him to attack it because that the Japan surrenders and he officially accepted their surrender on September 2, 1945. He leaded the Army of the United Nation to defend the South Korea against the North Korean invasion from 1950 to 1951. At April 1951 he was removed form the command by President Harry S. Truman for disagreeing with the Truman’s Korean War at policy 2. He has fought three major wars and they are “World War I, World War II, and Korean War.” And he is also one of the five men that even rise to a rank of a general.

Adolf had two other siblings but the two died when they were a baby. He attened school at age six and the family moved to various villages aorund the town of Linz. During this time he had a brother at age six and adolf’s mother gave birth to his sister who outlived Adolf. Adolf had a poor record at school so he left before completing his tuition. He had an amibition to become an artist. Adolf father, Alois died when Adolf was 13 years of age. Between the ages of sixteen and nineteen, Adolf never worked to earn his keep and did not formally studied, but he got interested in politics and history.
After the World War 1, the Treaty of Versilles was formed and it was a big punishment for Germany. Germany had to give up territory, Germany army size has to be reduced, no submarines or aircrafts,and penalized $33 billion dollars. The axis powers was formed when Hitler agreed to partner up with Benito Mussolini and Hideki Tojo. They partnar up to get more land. Regarding the treaty, Hitler , the leader of the Nazis party Hitler started building up army, making weapons, and made airforces.

Roosevelt went to Groton School, in Massachusetts. Later on, he was the thirty second president in the U.S.
Roosevelt, Churchill, and Joseph Stalin together with Chiang Kai-shek worked together informally to fought in the war at different places. The Allies thought of a strategy in a series of high profile conferences. At 1943, the Allies would defeat Nazi Germany, and it became increasingly important to make high-level political decisions about the postwar future of Europe. Roosevelt and Churchill told Stalin about the plan to attack France in 1944, and also discussed about Roosevelt’s plan for a postwar international organization.
Benito Amilcare Andrea Mussolini was born on July 29, 1883. He was an Italian men who was the head of the National Fascist Party and is credited for being part of important people in the creation of Fascism. In 1992, he became the Prime Minister of Italy, and Il Duce by 1925. He led the dictatorship until 1943. For a short period of time after this until his death, April 28, 1945. Mussolini was also the leader of the Italian Social Republic.

In 1935, business men and bankers started to hate his New Deal program. In 1936, he was re-elected as president and tried to make the Supreme Court larger but failed to do so.
On December 7, 1941, the Japanese attacked Pearl Harbor and Roosevelt directed organization of the Nation’s manpower and recourses for global war. He felt that the future peace of the world would depend upon relations between the U.S. and Russia so he thought a lot about the planning of a United Nations. He hoped that international difficulties would be settled with the creation of the United Nations. As the war ended F.D.R. died on April 12, 1945 at Warm Springs, Georgia of a cerebral hemorrhage.

When American military police surrounded the house on September 8 1945 they heard a muffled shot from inside. a group of military police burst in, followed by a reporter for The New York Times. Dwight David Eisenhower was born in October 14, 1890 he died in March 28, 1969. he was a General of the Army in the United States Army served as the thirty-fourth President of the United States for two terms. During the Second World War, he served as Supreme Commander of the Allied forces in Europe, with responsibility for planning and supervising the successful invasion of France and Germany in 1944-45. In 1951, he became the first supreme commander of NATO. he saw nuclear weapons as a higher defense priority, launched the Space Race, enlarged the Social Security program, and began the Interstate Highway System. In December 1943, it was announced that he would be Supreme Allied Commander in Europe. he died of a congestive heart failure on March 28, 1969 at Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington D.C. The following day his body was moved to the Washington National Cathedral’s Bethlehem Chapel where he laid in repose for twenty-eight hours. On March 30, his body was brought by caisson to the United States Capitol where he laid in state in the Capitol Rotunda. On March 31, his body was returned to the National Cathedral where he was given an Episcopal funeral service. That evening, his body was placed onto a train en route to Abilene, Kansas. His body arrived on April 2. Eisenhower is buried alongside his son Doud who died at age 3 in 1921, and his wife, Mamie, who died in 1979.

Chamberlain went to a conference with Hitler and Mussolini and they made a treaty that caused Hitler to gain many lands. Also, in 1938, the Munich Agreement was signed meaning Sudentenland [<-- Is that Czechoslovakia? I think so ?] then belonged to Adolf Hitler. Then later on sometime, Chamberlain died. The honorable prime minister of British Arthur Neville Chamberlain was born in March 18, 1869. He was the eldest son of a lord mayor of Birmingham named Joseph Chamberlain. He was educated at Rugby School where he found his interest on botany which is the studies about plants so later, he joined the Royal Horticultural Society. In 1915, Chamberlain became the lord mayor of Birmingham like his father. At May 18, 1937, he was elected as the prime minister of United Kingdom. He left the office at May 10, 1940 because of his lack of determination to pick up a fight against Germany. After about 6 months, he died of cancer in November 9th, 1940.
During Chamberlain’s years in the office. He signed the Munich Agreement and other appeasements with Adolf Hitler which is the dictator of the German political party known as Nazi. He, as the prime minister of United Kingdom gave up many lands and territories to Adolf Hitler because he believed there’s no reason to start a war. Chamberlain did not want to put England in a position to fight a war. There’s rumors said that he was too scared that he was afraid to lose. Benito had been a bad boy when he was young. Then he emigrated to Switzerland and got involved in the socialist movement. Mussolini wanted to escape to Switzerland, and then he got captured and executed near Lake Como by Communist Italian partisans on April 28, 1945. They took his body to Milan and it was hung upside down at a petrol station for public viewing and confirmation of his demise.
Benito Musollini was one of the dictators who started the world warII along with the leader in Japan and Germany. He joined the axis power as the leader for Italy. He had become the leader of the National Fascist Party in Italy. He became an Italian Prime Minister in 1922. Then, he became Duce (leader) by 1925; also, he was the leader of the dictatorship until 1943. He was originally sided the French and then became part of the Axis power.
Josef Stalin was born in 1878 and died on 1953. He was the General Secretary of the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. He changed the economy of the Soviet Union from an agrarian economy to a major or huge powerhouse of industrial. But when he changed it into a huge powerhouse of industrial, there were many deaths since of the hardships. The hardships were that there was a short period of time of change and such a huge amount of change. During his time were he was the General Secretary he made a regime now known as Stalinism.

He joined Hitler’s side because he thought that with him helping Hitler he wouldn’t attack the Soviet Union. Mussolini contributed in World War 2 by taking over Albania. They invaded on April 7, 1939. While everyone else fought, Mussolini decided to not involve himself in the fight until he was sure who would win. He joined the Axis and he declared war on Britain and France in June 10, 1940. He also declared war on the United States after the Pearl Harbor got bombed. He got captured by Allies but he got rescued by Germans. Even thought he was rescued, he still was killed.

Josef Stalin was born in Gori, Georgia and born on December 18, 1878 and died on March 5, 1953. He ruled Russia for about 25 years as a dictator. He was his mother’s 4th child. He was known as a cruel and yet powerful ruler that showed no mercy. As he ruled he also changed his name to Stalin which meant man of steel.
His role in World War 2 was major. He was an evil dictator during the beginning of WWII; he killed a lot of people in Russia. He was the dictator of Russia. After the Nazis attacked Russia, he joined the Allies because he was mad that the Nazis betrayed the Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact of 1939. Eventually after WWII Russia had some issues towards each other so it became the cold war.
