bill 2
We should build a fence around the boarder of Mexico? I agreed with this bill because if too much people coming in from illegal immigrants a State wont be a state. Also if people kept on coming in to American it is no point of fighting terrorist when people is coming in. we should build a fence that is 30 feet high and with bar wires because when they try to climb over the fence they will get hurt badly. Also we can build a fence that is 28 feet deep because if they try to dig over it will take them a long time and we will notice it. So then we can have longer time to catch them before they dig a hole and go under it.
bill 3,
Immigration Requirements all immigrate that wish to come to American should require to must can read, write, and speak English because that if they don’t speak English we wont understand what they even say. Also that if they don’t speak English it is harder for us to know what they are saying. Also that when we try to ask them something and they don’t speak English it will be very hard for us to understand them. We should have a test on the people that are trying to come to American to take the test to see do they speak English.
Amnesty
Do you agree with Amnesty? Well I, representative John Shadegg and Peter King disagrees with Amnesty. Amnesty is forgiveness. Say if an immigrant comes to the United States we can forgive him and let him become a U.S citizen. We disagree with it because it is a bad thing.
Amnesty is a big issue because immigrants can just come to the U.S and become citizens. That will attract more immigrants to the U.S and they can try to cross the border illegally just to come to the U.S. If there is Amnesty, the United States will be crowded with a lot of immigrants that are about to become citizens. The U.S will then be over populated.
The solution that I, representative John Shadegg and Peter King thought off is that we think that Amnesty should not be a law or else the U.S will be crowded. Amnesty can forgive the immigrants and they can just stay in the U.S. That is the solution that we suggest, to make Amnesty not a law. If Amnesty becomes a law it will be bad for the U.S.
We said Amnesty can make the U.S over populated with thousands of illegal immigrants that could just become citizens. Amnesty is a bad thing for the U.S and it should not become a law. That will be unfair to the U.S.
Bill proposal from speaker of the House: Nancy Pelosi
Did you ever have a second chance? Illegal Immigrants who came here illegally should have a chance to become a U.S citizen. They should have their freedom, they risk their lives just to come to America and make a living so why can’t they become a citizen in anyway? People should have a chance to do anything in the world in a good manner.
Illegal immigrants should have amnesty or a way to become a U.S citizen. If their not citizens they will get torture in the U.S and they cannot do what real Americans can do so they do not have equal rights. America welcomes people who show special effort to becoming a citizen and it won’t be fair, if they help America and not be part of America. For example, if illegal people help in the mines, it would make a big difference because those jobs were not good to the Americans but the people still did it. Illegal immigrants made what America is now and there should be a way for them to become a Citizen since they worked so hard.
America is known for a land of opportunity and justice so let it be. We propose a bill to allow all Illegal immigrants to become a citizen if they work in U.S for 4 years total, agree the laws, agree the U.S constitution, and must not have any crime records. This land offer people to become a Citizen but agree in law. When they came illegally, they didn’t respect the laws but if they don’t come here illegally, how are they suppose to respect the laws if they don’t even have a chance to be part of U.S. Everyone should get a second chance in life because then you’ll know the true power in them and see what they can do in life to help America.

Reporting and Deporting Illegal Immigrants-
The punishment Bill
I represent James Sensenbrenner. Are you tire of illegal immigrants taking you job and causing trouble in your neighborhood? Then we should do something about it! My bill will help put those people back where they belong. My Bill states that: “All illegal immigrants that are found out are reported and sent to prison and do community service for three years and were sent back without any money.”
Illegal immigrants had been a problem for a long time. A lot of gangs are formed by illegal immigrants. Also with all those people around, other legal immigrants would lose their jobs. Does anyone really want people who cause problem for American like us living in our neighborhood? Think of you friend and families, do you want them to get hurt? I think not.
The solution is simple. We could put them back where they belong. The question is what if they come back? We could keep putting them back but they would just keep coming so we had to teach them a lesson. My bill would do just that. It will help benefit all of us.
final draft,
Against border security
We, Representative Charles Pickering, Jr. of Mississippi and Representative Dennis Kucinich of Ohio, strongly believe that massive border security is unnecessary and ineffective. Our bill is against border security because many immigrants need money and have no job opportunities in other countries. People keep asking us: do we need to put a large fence around the Mexican border or not? For some reason, they want us to put up a large barricade. Well, we are against those “FOR” border security. The war has begun!
The problem is that some people want to put a large fence along the border. They want to, but we don’t b/c even though we are not immigrants, we believe that other immigrants such as the Chinese and Dominicans should have the same opportunities that Americans have. What happens if we put the fence around the border? People will starve and some will die of hunger. They will blame us Americans for this problem.
Say, Mr. Kucinich, do you think we, the representative, should put a large fence along the border of Mexico?
KUCINICH: Well, I think that we should NOT put a fence because people need money to live. Also, do you think that all of us are being a little greedy about money? I know that we both admitted that money is not all we think about, correct? Back to you, Congressman Pickering.
PICKERING: Thanks, Representative Kucinich and now we should vote. Is money all that is important to you greedy people? Well, some of us are for the FOR security border and they think it’s a good idea b/c they either taking most of the job, took a bunch of jobs b/c they were poor, or they have no jobs in other countries. I know that they can’t come b/c they could bring weapons or injures someone. Well, we should have a search for weapons when they cross the border
testing
My fellow Americans, why should we let the people stay here in U.S when they came here illegally? What rights do they have to stay here? We, Peter King and John Shadegg strongly believe that it is not right for people to get citizenship, they don’t deserve to be here since they came here illegally. This is an extremely important issue because if one person comes here illegally and gets away with it, then many more are going to follow and this will cause many troubles for our country.
Many people brave many risky situations to reach their goal of coming to the U.S. They want to get better opportunities in the U.S, however, they need to use legal means in order to gain the opportunities that the U.S. can provide. It is not fair for those people who are here legally for others to disobey the law and get the same rewards. Many crime cases rise up and nearly all those crime cases are caused by illegal immigrants.
Some of our fellow Representatives in this House feel that we should grant illegal immigrants who have made it to the U.S. Amnesty programs only encourage more people to come here illegally. We, Peter King and John Shadegg strongly believe that amnesty is a major issue to the U.S. Letting many people come here illegally and get their citizenship makes any immigration law that we pass pointless. Breaking a law is a criminal act. Amnesty therefore encourages crime.
We strongly suggest that we should cancel the amnesty program. It will make the people think that even if they come here illegally, nothing will happen to them. It only makes them think that even if they come here illegally, they can still get all of the good opportunities here. But that’s wrong, we don’t want them to think that way. We need to adjust their thoughts. If we cancel out amnesty programs for illegal immigrants, others will be less likely to try really hard to come to the U.S.
Overall, Amnesty is a program that is rewarding illegal immigrants behavior and giving them the rights to get citizenship. We strongly disagree that. Why should we forgive them? Why should we let them get United States citizenship? If we do, it’s only encouraging more people to come here and to get all the good opportunities of being an American, without having to contribute to the larger society, through taxes. It’s not fair for the legal immigrants and for all of the hardworking American people.
Problem:Amnesty(forgiveness)
Evidence:
-They don’t deserve to get citizenship since they came here illegally.
-people who came here illegally are receiving benefits and it’s not fair for all citizens and legal immigrants.
-illegal immigrants added to alot of crime rate
-This program is rewarding illegal immigrants behavior and encourage more illegal immigrants to come
-They took away Americans jobs
Solution: the U.S should cancel the Amnesty program and stopped giving citizenship to illegal immigrants.
Problem: Reporting and Deporting illegal immigrants
Evidence:
-they cause too much troubles for U.S
-It’s not right for them to came here illegally
Solution:After the illegal immigrants were caught, we should immediately send them back to their own country. Even if they safely came here, there shouldn’t be using our hospital treatment and education.
Problem:Border security
Evidence:
-people go through the border to come to U.S
-People were taking advantage of the border
-Most people came here and didn’t get caught when they crossing the border
Solution: People should build a strong fence around the border.
Our bill is about against extreme border control. This bill will show why we are against the border control. We, Dennis Kucinich (Ohio) and Charles “chip” Pickering, Jr (Mississippi) disagree with this because they are for immigration.
The problem is that people want to put a border fence up all along the border with Mexico and we do not want to. The fence will not stop illegal immigrants from coming in. Also it will be a waste of money if it does not work. This is why we, Dennis Kucinich and Charles chip Pickering Jr, are against the border control issue.
We should stop the border fence from being built. What happens if we forcefully stop Mexicans from going through America illegally? This could have a huge impact. They might declare a war on us. This is why we should stop it from happening. We, Dennis Kucinich and Charles chip Pickering Jr; believe this and you should too. This is an issue that could result in violence and in a much bigger conflict with Mexico.
Many Mexicans were caught crossing the border in the past and present. They risked their lives coming here because they were desperate. The Mexicans come to the U.S. to make money in order to send money back to their families. There is a Mexican who is pushed to come to the U.S. because his families need money, so he has to come to the U.S. illegally. If he crosses the border successfully, he would be an illegal immigrant. On his way of crossing the border, there are agents who warned him the danger that they would face, but he is determined to come. When he has entered the U.S., he started to work hard. There are many people like him who come to the U.S. and work really hard.
Many illegal immigrants risk their lives crossing the border. About 1954 people died from crossing the U.S.-Mexican border between the years of 1998 to 2004. Too many illegal immigrants come because they want to get job opportunities, to reunite their families, to escape poverty and etc. Over 11 millions of them are in the U.S. right now. They are dared to travel cross the desert to reach the U.S., but many of them died in the desert. Some of them cross the border by riding on the ship, in which they might died for dehydration and other bad conditions. It’s possible that there are going to be more the illegal aliens. Since they are illegal immigrants, they can’t get education, public health systems, and bank account. . The coyotes are smugglers to help the Mexicans come to the United States, but sometimes they abandon them. There were 5.3 millions of Mexicans trying to reach the border in 2005.
We, Maxine Waters, Rahm Emanuel, and Patrick Joseph Kennedy, proposed a way to create a guest worker program that has limits on the number of workers coming each year. Their limit time is 1 ½ years and we will notice them three months before the expired date. Then they must return after the time is over. They must fill in a form once they have a place to live in the U.S. and they must fill in their address. We would give them a certificate after we verify everything that the person fills in the form. We would keep a record in a computer so that they must return on the certain date and we would check daily if any of them overstay. Immigrants from the guest worker program must pay 10% tax when they buy something from the U.S.
After 9/11, it’s possible that there are terrorist’s attacks, so we should have records on those who come to the U.S. Create a guest worker program is a solution. This will help the American and Mexican economy to grow, instead of wasting money to make a fence along the border. Because of this program, the number of illegal immigrants coming to the U.S. will decrease.

Creating a Final Draft of a Bill/Speech
Bill from:Carolyn McCarthy
1) Problem: Quotas (Limits) The United States should set different limits (quotas) for immigrants who are coming from different regions around of the world to enter the United States
2) Evidence
• This no fair for all immigrants.
• For example: There are different numbers of immigrants come from different countries all around the world
• For quotas, its being racist because a certain amount of people that wants to come from different countries is coming and not a lot of people from there is going to be a large amount and there is going to be a limit of immigrants
Introduction
Carolyn McCarthy and other democrats are against with the issue Quotas (Limits). The U.S has settled different limits for the immigrants who came to America.
I, Shelia lee Jackson, John Lewis and Diana Degget disagree with H2344. we think there shouldn’t be quotas limits. Why?
• If you limit an amount of people from their countries you limit the chance of having a better life for them
• They shouldn’t give a certain country a certain number of people to come to the united states because of the race for example they might let people from china have300 and people from DR 200
In conclusion
We think that quotas limits are wrong and it is racist.
Peter King, Shade
Why do think they should cancel out Amenesty and why?
What would you do if you were the immigrant coming to the country and u couldn’t get in how would you feel?
Emerson (Cherry) must kill!!!
Why is it that you so hardly want boarder security when either way their going to come illegally so there for we should give them a chance to become a legal immigrants.
But you and others still judges them
Notes:
Wants border by using taxes

Is Iraq an example of American Imperialism?
Do you think that Osama Bin laden should be responsible for 9/11? There are so many ways to see that Osama Bin laden should be responsible for 9/11. The war is an example of American Imperialism. Also in the article TKF- History, in 1991 the U.S. and its allies went to war with Iraq to turn back invasion of neighboring Kuwait and to protect valuable oil fields.
The war in Iraq is an example of American Imperialism in many ways. In the film “Fahrenheit 9/11” American businesses and soldiers are protecting and using Iraqi oil. In the article “ A Dangerous Game of Hide-and-Seek”

According to Wikipedia, Joseph Stiglitz suggested that the U.S. had spent $1 trillion. This gargantuan amount of money comes from the taxpayers. Based on the same website, from 150,000 to more than 1.2 million people have died in the Iraq War including soldiers. Also, Wikipedia stated, “According to the Center for Public Integrity, President Bush’s administration made a total of 935 FALSE STATEMENTS during the time of 2001 to 2003 about the Iraq’s alleged threats to the United States.” Many thinking that President Bush is trying to protect us, but some wonder, “protect us from what?”. The war in Iraq is an example of American imperialism for a lot of reasons. Though the President claimed that the U.S. is fighting for the Iraq’s freedom, the real reasons for the war are land and oil.
The Iraq War definitely is an example of American imperialism. There is a connection between the annexation of Hawaii and the Iraq War. Based on chapter 27.2- America Stretches Its Wings Annexing Hawaii, in the 1835, a Boston merchant started a sugar plantation in Hawaii. Then in the late 1800’s people who are in Hawaii were against the Hawaiian kingdom and the queen was overthrown by the people who owned the sugar plantation land. so the U.S. annexed Hawaii for the benefit of sugar. Now the United States is taking over Iraq and executing its president for the benefits of oil. Therefore the Iraq War is related the annexation of Hawaii.
Other than the connection between annexation of Hawaii and the Iraq, there is also a connection between Spanish American War and this war. Based on chapter 27.4: The Philippines, American soldiers fought the Spanish on April 25, 1898. it was a short war because it only lasted 109 days. The United States claimed that it was fighting for the Philippines’ freedom from Spain. However, the U.S. bought Philippines from Spain for $20 million. Since the cost of war in Iraq is about $1 trillion and it means the U.S. “bought” Iraq War for $1 trillion. Based on this historical event, it’s possible that the U.S. would gain Iraq War as its territory! So the Iraq War is related to the Spanish American War.
One might think that the Iraq War is not an example of American imperialism because of what Iraqis did. According to Time for Kids, the article of “World Report” stated that Iraq War was playing a dangerous game of hide and seeks and Iraq was trying to hide something. They covered video cameras that are supposed to inspect if Iraq has weapons or not. Other the hand, on the same publishing company, the article of “World Report” stated that NO WEAPONS ARE FOUND! that prove that what President Bush think is wrong!
Although my essay has limited reasons of why the Iraq War is an example of American imperialism, there are a lot more reasons why this war should be an example of American imperialism. The U.S. fought the Iraq War because they wanted oil just like getting Hawaii for sugar trade and plantation. Also, the U.S. fought in the Spanish American war saying that they would get freedom for the Philippines, but later on the U.S. gained it as its territory. so, the same thing goes to Iraq, president bush claimed that he is fighting for the Iraqis’ freedom. but later on, it is possible that the U.S. gains Iraq as its territory. Based on these two reasons, the war in Iraq is an example of American imperialism. The Iraq war is important to the world and the U.S., because it has a big affect on the world’s and U.S.’s economy.
is this late?
